This hands-on workshop is designed to provide participants with essential skills in emergency trauma management. Led by experienced specialists, the session will focus on practical techniques for handling life-threatening injuries, including:
Control of External Bleeding –tourniquet application, wound packing, pressure dressings, and the use of hemostatic agents to effectively manage severe bleeding.
Airway Management – critical airway interventions, including nasopharyngeal airway insertion, laryngeal mask airway placement, endotracheal intubation, and cricothyroidotomy for emergency airway access.
Thoracic and Abdominal Trauma – managing chest and abdominal wounds using occlusive dressings, handling eventrations, performing needle decompression, and pleural drainage techniques.
Fractures and Pelvic Injuries – immobilization strategies, splint application for limb and pelvic fractures, and primary wound management to stabilize injuries effectively.
